The Balanced Image Final completes the dynamic duo of Hanover Raceway Stake Races. Top class Ontario Sired 2-year-old Trotters travel from all over Canada and the U.S., to take a run at this prestigious title.
The great sire, Balanced Image, is credited with putting Ontario sired horses on the map. His impact on the Canadian Harness Racing industry was so great, that he was rightfully inducted into the 2000 Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame.
Balanced Image produced an abundance of stakes champions and 9 individual million dollar winners. He produced the great Billyjojimbob, Goodtimes, Glorys Comet, Yankee Paco, Rotation, Impeccable Image and Liberty Balance led his progeny.
Balanced Image passed away in October 2004. Hanover Raceway presented the inaugural Balanced Image Trot in 2005 to honour “the King of Ontario Stallions” and it has continued annually to this day.
