Big Sir and Grandpe Knows Best become the winningest horses at Hanover Raceway this season by winning a race on both race days thus far.
Big Sir, a 3 year old Big Jim gelding, took the lead early on and played catch me if you can with Ryan Holliday in the bike. Doug McNair and Deputy Seelster made Big Sir work all the way to the wire to earn his second victory of the season, closing the last quarter in 28 seconds.
Grandpe Knows Best, a 3 year old Badlands Hanover gelding, moved up in class after last weeks win to face a tougher class. The class did not prove to be much of a challenge for Doug McNair and Grandpe Knows Best as they cruised to a 2 length victory over nearest competitor.
