No, Hanover Raceway does not charge an admission fee.

2. Is parking free?

Yes, Hanover Raceway provides free parking 365 days a year.

3. Does Hanover Raceway have free WIFI?

Yes, Hanover Raceway has free WIFI for the enjoyment of guests.

No, however the on site Casino does require valid photo ID for persons 19+.

5. Is Hanover Raceway covered under the L.L.B.O?

Yes, Hanover Raceway is a fully licensed establishment that offers patrons the option of purchasing alcohol during live racing.

6. Are children allowed at Hanover Raceway?

Yes, children of all ages are welcome to attend race nights. New this year, Hanover Raceway has developed a Kid’s Club, in which members are eligible to win prizes and giveaways throughout the live racing season.

7. Is there a change table?

Yes, there is a change table for public use located in the live racing restrooms.

8. Is the Hanover Raceway wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Hanover Raceway is wheelchair accessible. The site includes a wheelchair accessible restroom for pubic use. Please refer to the Accessibility Policy which can be found on our website under the about tab.

9. What time do live racing events start? 

Post time is 7:15 P.M. unless otherwise noted.

10. How much are programs?

Programs are available for $2.50 CAN.

11. Where are they available for purchase? 

Programs can be purchased under the grandstands at the Kiosk/Information Booth.

12. How do you bet?

Refer to the ‘How to bet’ page on the Hanover Raceway’s home page.

13. Where do I bet?

During live race nights you can bet under the Grand Stands, at the Self Serve Betting Machines, or in person with one of our mutual tellers. In times where live racing events are not applicable the simulcast area is located in the back corner of the on site casino.

14. Is there a minimum bet? 

The minimum bet is $2.00 CAN.

15. Can I exchange US Money?

Yes, you can exchange US money within the casino at the cashiers cage.

16. Can I bet with US money? 

No, you cannot place wagers with US Money at our facility.

17. Is there ATM machines available for client use on the premises? 

Yes, there are two locations that offer ATM’s for public use. One within the Coach House Restaurant and the second is located within the on site casino.

18. Is there a place to eat? 

Yes, we have two options for food and beverage during our live racing nights. On Saturday night we feature a beef buffet held within The Coach House restaurant from 5 pm – 8 pm. Also located under the grand stands we have our concession that offers burgers, french fries, hot dogs, snacks and variety of beverages.

19. How do I get to the restaurant? 

You may enter the restaurant through the main entrance of the building and take a right past the public restrooms.

20.  Does the restaurant accept reservations on live race nights?

No we do not accept any reservations on Saturday nights due to volume associated with live racing events. We strictly work on a first come first serve basis.

21. What are your hours of operation? 

The Hanover raceway houses an on site casino which is open 24 hours 365 days a year and a fully licensed restaurant which is also open 365 days a year.
